Last Saturday, I had the pleasure of working with Amna, a make-up artist & photographer who graciously offered to take photos of me in Santa Monica on a gorgeous day! The Divine Hunt has given me so many opportunities to meet motivating & inspiring women who make me love what I do even more.  Amna is a Chicago native who just recently moved over to the City of Angels to follow a dream.  I’m all about that! I was absolutely blown away by her professionalism and her eye for beauty. She directed this entire shoot and I am so happy with the results.  Thank you Amna 🙂 !

I also met Jaclyn, a NYC girl who also just recently relocated to LA. She is the owner of a fab online jewelry boutique called LoveAudryRose, named after her grandmother. She kindly offered to let me borrow some amazing  jewels for the shoot. I was absolutely in love with her antique jewelry, totally my style. Adore the cuff and my ring party was on point! Still dreaming about that diamond ring…sigh…

There’s something in common with these two lovely ladies.  They are both equally driven and are following their dreams and I am so inspired by all of that.  It was so lovely to meet you both and I hope to collaborate again soon!

Now let’s discuss this look, shall we?  I am so obsessed with my new Zara blue suede lace-up heels that I bought on sale for under $30! I know, crazy right?  My eyes literally popped out of my head when I looked at the price tag. Any shoe with a lace has been quite the trend lately, and I must admit, I own about 4 different types in different colors, yikes! This shoe was different though.  I loved the vibrant blue color and I knew wearing it would make any outfit fabulous!

Because we were shooting by the beach, I wanted to wear something light and airy.  This J.Crew skirt (on sale!) was the perfect choice!  The tassel trim sold me and I really felt like the shoes would be a perfect match.  Lastly, I paired the skirt with an easy-breezy light black button-down blouse that I tied up to add a little extra something.

I hope you all enjoyed this look as much as I did!  It was a beautiful morning spent with beautiful inspiring women- doesn’t get any better than that!

xo, Diana
